A flicker is checked before a panel is ordered
An image that flashes or washes out can be the panel, and they confirm that before a screen is fitted. A black image with the fan still moving can be a cable or the board, so glass is not the automatic order. The same bench replaces a weak battery, a dead keyboard, a failing disk with an SSD or a new drive, and it cleans malware. Heat is traced through the fan and the heat sink.
