The person who opens laptops for SAI Laptop Service is at the walk-in counter in Ganesh Complex, above the TVS showroom, opposite Infosys. If you are coming from that campus side, you still carry the laptop to Ganesh Complex.
After the workday, the same bench
A cracked or dim panel is changed when the panel is the fault. A battery that fades before evening, or swells, is changed when the pack is the fault. Keys that stick or stay dead, including after a spill, are a keyboard job. A slow or failing disk is replaced with an SSD or a new drive. Heat and a roaring fan are traced to the fan and heat sink. Pop-ups and locked files are handled by taking the malware off and cleaning what remains. Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, ASUS, Apple, and MSI already come across this bench.
Why they sit outside the campus
The benefit is a shop you can walk into without a campus gate. You hear the fault and the quote before any paid work, and the laptop you use for work remains the one being repaired. This page does not describe a desk inside Wipro.
